Raja Singh Aurangabad Sabha -In a bid to prevent potential communal tensions, SDPI member Ashok Jadhav has submitted a formal request to the Superintendent of Police (SP) urging the denial of permission for BJP MLA T Raja Singh’s Sabha in Bidkin Aurangabad.


In a recent development, members of the Social Democratic Party of India SDPI Aurangabad held a meeting with the Additional Superintendent of Police in Bidkin Gramin. The focus of the meeting was to address concerns over the potential spread of hate speech by Raja Singh, a public figure known for making divisive statements across the country.


Expressing concerns about the BJP’s alleged strategy to stoke religious animosity in the run-up to the 2024 elections, SDPI Aurangabad fears the event of Raja Singh Bidkin may lead to discord between the Hindu and Muslim communities in Bidkin and Aurangabad.

SDPI has called on the SP to either deny permission for the Sabha or ensure the installation of CCTV cameras at the venue. Highlighting Raja Singh’s previous controversial comments about Muslim prophets, the SDPI emphasizes the potential for such events to create a rift between Hindu and Muslim. They assert that the BJP’s historical approach involves sowing discord between communities for political gains.

The Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) is appealing to the people of Aurangabad not to be swayed by individuals arriving from Hyderabad with intentions to divide communities. The SDPI further urges residents to be vigilant and resist the alleged plans of the BJP.

Citing a Supreme Court direction related to the Hindu Jan Jagran Samiti and Raja Singh, which strictly prohibits hate speech, the SDPI stressed the importance of adhering to this directive. In alignment with the court’s instructions, the SDPI has formally requested the police to prevent Raja Singh from delivering speeches that target the Muslim community and Islam.

Expressing their commitment to upholding the rule of law, the SDPI has warned of potential legal action if hate speech is permitted during Raja Singh‘s address. Kaleem from SDPI asserted that, in the event of such inflammatory rhetoric, the party is prepared to file a case against Raja Singh.
