Railway activist Raj Somani has once again raised the demand for the implementation of Fog Pass Devices in the Sachkhand Express. Expressing concern, Somani stated, “Several devotees had planned their journey to Nanded during this period, coinciding with Guru Gobind Singh Jayanti. Unfortunately, the railway authorities opted for cancellation rather than addressing the need for improved punctuality.”
Upon reaching out to SCR authorities, they shifted blame onto other railway zones for the disrupted schedule of the Sachkhand Express. “The foggy conditions have caused delays in the train’s operations in both directions, resulting in the unavailability of the rake (a set of coupled rail vehicles forming a train),” mentioned a senior official. However, the official refrained from commenting on the potential use of Fog Pass devices to mitigate such issues.
