There has been tension in Aurangabad due to protest turned violent firing tear gas on Aurangabad MP Imtiaz Jaleel.

Imtiaz Jaleel Said “I would like to tell the government, firing tear gas on me and these innocent people will not stop us from protesting. We will fight till the hard earned money of these helpless people is returned to them.”

Imtiaz Jaleel is fighting for people money from a very long time lost due to Adarsh Bank Scam in Aurangabad.

The city police have recently filed another case against the scandal-ridden Adarsh cooperative society. This fresh complaint alleges misappropriation and irregularities involving funds totalling Rs 4.06 crore against officials from the N1-based main branch of the women credit cooperative bank operating under Adarsh Bank. Among those charged are the branch manager of the financial institution and 18 others, including loan guarantors.

The offense, spanning from March 31, 2022, to March 31, 2023, was uncovered during a government audit. The police have invoked several sections of the Indian Penal Code, including cheating (Section 420), criminal breach of trust (Sections 406 and 409), criminal acts done by several persons (Section 34), and forgery (Section 467).

This latest filing adds to the half a dozen cases registered against various institutions linked to Adarsh Cooperative Society, accused of defrauding numerous depositors in a multicrore scam.

Owaisi in Aurangabad pointed out Jaleel’s positive contributions to Aurangabad, such as addressing the Adarsh Bank scam, distinguishing him from other politicians who may not have taken similar actions.

For years, the elected representatives in Aurangabad have failed to bring about meaningful change or development for the constituency, leaving the people without the progress they deserve.
