SDPI To Contest For 60 seats in Lok Sabha Elections 2024

The Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) has decided to contest in 60 constituencies in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2024.

The first list includes 27 constituencies viz.

Mumbai South Central, Aurangabad, Dhule Malegaon in Maharashtra. Jangipur, Behrampur, Murshidabad, Malda South, Jadavpur, Kolkata North and South in West Bengal. Kerana, Meerut, Bijnor, Kaiserganj, Amroha, Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh. Nandyal, Nellore, Kurnool in Andhra Pradesh. Shajapur-Dewas, and Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh. Surat, Banaskantha, Ahmedabad West, and Kutch in Gujarat. Hazaribagh, Rajmahal in Jharkhand.

SDPI national general secretary Ilyas Thumbe said that the party is making intensive preparations at the grassroots level for the Lok Sabha elections. The second list will include names of constituencies of Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Bihar which will be announced in the first week of March. The candidates for Lok Sabha elections will be announced in the respective states as soon as possible.
