Faruqui was born into a Gujarati Muslim family. His family faced financial struggles, and he had to leave school after 5th grade to help support them. He worked odd jobs, including at a gift shop and helping his mother and grandmother sell samosas and chaklis. Sadly, his mother passed away when he was just 14. After her death, he moved to Mumbai to start anew. In 2020, his father also passed away due to paralysis.
