Even though Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has appealed for the march to halt and wait for the government’s efforts on reservation, Jarange-Patil has rejected the plea. The march, which reached Matori village in Beed on Saturday night, is set to enter Pune district on Monday from Karanji Ghat.

Jarange-Patil mentioned that the government has a limited time frame of four days to fulfill the community’s reservation demand. He expressed frustration, stating that the Maratha community was eligible for reservation but has been deprived. He warned the government to provide reservations promptly, or they would face long-term consequences.

In response, Chief Minister Shinde assured that the government is working positively on the demand for Maratha reservation. He appealed to the protestors to stop the agitation, emphasizing that continued protests would inconvenience the people. Shinde detailed the efforts taken by the government and urged the protestors to withdraw the march.
