Maratha Man ends life supporting Maratha Reservation

Maratha Man Suicide -A young man named Dnyaneshwar Shivaji Mohare, aged 24, took his own life in Waregaon, Fulambri taluka, expressing his support for Maratha community reservation.

A young man named Dnyaneshwar Shivaji Mohare, aged 24, took his own life in Waregaon, Fulambri taluka, expressing his support for Maratha community reservation. He hung himself from a lemon tree in Group 171 on Monday around 9 am. The incident was discovered at 10 am, and the police were notified by his cousin.

A letter advocating for Maratha reservation, expressing support for Jarange Patil, was found near the deceased. Dnyaneshwar, employed as a private vehicle driver, hailed from a family with a two-acre farm, where his father, Shivaji Mohare, worked as a laborer.

The police took possession of the letter, which included the message ‘I am calling for Maratha reservation, my support to Jarange Patil! Text ‘One Maratha Lakh Maratha.’ Following the necessary procedures, the body was sent to Valley Hospital in Aurangabad.

This tragic event adds to a series of suicides by youths from Waregaon and nearby areas in Fulambri taluka, all in support of the Maratha reservation. Authorities, including the Fulambri Tehsildar Krishna Kangule, Deputy Tehsildar Sanjeev Raut, and Talathi Sneha Jonwal, visited the hospital to initiate government assistance for the deceased. In total, four young individuals from Waregaon have taken their lives in solidarity with the cause.
