The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) plans to operate the first Aastha Special train from Visakhapatnam to Ayodhya, and Vizag to Ayodhya offering devotees the opportunity for Ram Lalla Darshan.
This special train will commence its journeys after January 22, coinciding with the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Devotees from over 200 locations across India will also have access to Aastha special trains bound for Ayodhya.
To book tickets for these special trains to Ayodhya, passengers can use the IRCTC portal, which will provide all necessary journey details. It’s important for devotees interested in Ram Lalla Darshan to book return tickets as well.
Train ticket price is yet not revealed but will be between 700 to 1500 for sleeper class.

The 08572 train departs from Visakhapatnam at 10:20 PM on Wednesday, reaching Ayodhya at 10:35 AM on Friday. Departure from Ayodhya is scheduled for 7:55 PM on Saturday, with arrival in Visakhapatnam expected at 9:15 AM on Monday.
The 02803 Visakhapatnam to Ayodhya train departs at 8:30 AM on Monday, arriving in Ayodhya at 8:45 PM on Tuesday. Subsequently, the return journey from Ayodhya begins at 9:30 PM on Wednesday, reaching Visakhapatnam at 11:00 AM on Friday.
The 08572 train from Visakhapatnam departs at 10:20 PM on Wednesday, arriving in Ayodhya at 10:35 AM on Friday, and then departs from Ayodhya at 7:55 PM on Saturday, arriving in Visakhapatnam at 9:15 AM on Monday. Similarly, the 02803 Visakhapatnam to Ayodhya train leaves at 8:30 AM on Monday, arriving in Ayodhya at 8:45 PM on Tuesday. The return journey from Ayodhya commences at 9:30 PM on Wednesday, with arrival in Visakhapatnam at 11:00 AM on Friday.
Train will leave from Visakhapatnam and halt at below stations.
Vizianagaram, Srikakulam Road, Palasa, Brahmapur, Chhatrapur, Balugoan, Khurda Road, Bhubaneshwar, Naraj Marthapur, Dhenkanal, Angul, Kerejanga, Boinda, Rairakhol, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda Road, Raigarh, Champa, Bilaspur, Pendra Road, Anuppur, Sahdol, Umaria, New Katni JN, Katni, Satna, Manikpur JN, Prayagraj JN, Ayodhya Dham JN.
Two trains are running- 08572 and 02803.
Initially, these trains will run for a period of 90 days, with the possibility of extension based on booking responses. The Indian Railways anticipates a consistent demand for bookings on the Aastha Special trains throughout the year.
