Nanded Girl Murder – District in shock, grapples with the brutal murder news of a 6-year-old girl that has sent shockwaves through the community.
The victim, a Class I student from a village under Mudkhed police station in Nanded, was playing innocently in a field near her school. Despite playing until half-past three in the afternoon, the girl suddenly disappeared, triggering panic within her family when she failed to return by 6 pm.

Fearing the worst, the family, along with villagers, launched a desperate search for the missing girl. As night fell, Mudkhed police, with the support of senior officers, tirelessly combed the area for any sign of the girl, but their efforts were in vain.
The heartbreaking discovery unfolded on the morning of January 15 when the lifeless body of the girl was found on Umri Road near Mudkhed. The body lay hidden in the bushes next to the main road, 12 km away from her village. The police were promptly informed of the tragic find.
Given that the girl was partially clothed, initial suspicions pointed to a potential assault by an unknown assailant. The post-mortem report confirmed the child’s horrifying ordeal, revealing signs of torture inflicted by an unknown assailant.
In response to this shocking crime, the police have registered a case against the unknown assailant, invoking charges of atrocity, murder, and other relevant sections. Following the incident, multiple police teams, led by senior officers, are diligently searching for the accused, leaving no stone unturned in their efforts to bring the perpetrator to justice.
