Ghati Hospital Aurangabad –Chaotic Scene Unfolds at Valley Hospital: Female Doctor Injured in Altercation
A disturbing video capturing a violent clash between two groups in an Aurangabad Sambhajinagar hospital has circulated widely on social media. The incident resulted in injuries to one patient and a severe head injury to a female doctor. In response to the lack of immediate action during this law and order issue, four Maharashtra Security Force (MSF) personnel present at the hospital have been swiftly suspended.
The CCTV footage from Ghati Hospital in Aurangabad Sambhajinagar depicts a group entering the hospital ward and approaching a patient’s bed. The clash initially involved two groups who were admitted to the hospital for treatment. However, the altercation reignited while the injured individuals were undergoing medical care. A young man wielding a rod targeted another person, and in the process, the rod struck the head of a female resident doctor.
Disturbed by this unfortunate event, resident doctors from the accident department collectively decided to observe a strike to ensure the safety of both patients and medical staff.
Upon learning about the incident, Dr. Shivaji Sukre, the chief of the hospital, promptly engaged with the affected resident doctors. Dr. Sukre assured that legal action would be taken against those responsible for the violence. “A case will be registered against the concerned people in this case,” stated Dr. Shivaji Sukre. Following this assurance, resident doctors focused on maintaining the smooth functioning of patient care services despite the challenging circumstances. The incident highlights the need for increased security measures within healthcare facilities to safeguard both medical professionals and patients.
Taking swift action, the hospital promptly suspended four MSF officers stationed at the hospital. Ghati Hospital’s Dean, Dr. Shivaji Sukre, assured the local media that appropriate measures would be taken against the culprits. A case has been registered at Begampura police station, and further investigations are underway.
